On Time With Family
The 4th of July is one of the few days in the year that most Americans take some or all of the day off and spend time with family and friends, typically capping the day off with fireworks in an annual celebration of our nation’s birth. This is a ritual we participate in as a society every year, and is one of the few rituals Americans of all political and religious affiliations still share.
I hope you had a very Happy 4th of July, and I hope each of us makes a point of asking our neighbors and colleagues what they did for the 4th – it’s one of the few times each year you can connect with just about anyone and maybe lift up the end of their week with memories of how they spent time with family and friends, or memories of times with family and friends in years past.
How did you spend your 4th of July this year?
Let me know, I really would like to hear from you!
Best,
David
